caron Simply soft worsted

size F crochet hook

R1- ch26, dc in the 4^th ch from hook, dc in next 22ch, turn (24dc)

R2-R15 - ch2, dc across, turn (24dc)

R16- ch1, sc in the same st, *skip 2, 5dc in the next st, skip 2 sts, sc in the next* (Repeat 2 more times), skip 2 sts, 5dc in the next, skip 1, sc in the last. (should have a total of 4 shells) Tie off.

Fold piece so that shells overlap over round 1...

sc along both sides to sew closed. Working both sides with front of work facing you.. (shells should face you when working on either side)... Join yarn to the right and sc across ( I was able to work 12 sc across)...

Tie off.. weave in ends and your tissue cover is complete. Embelish with flowers, leaves, buttons, etc..
